The story
Taking the screen off the screen.
At Hellosaurus, I had the chance to collaborate with legends in kids’ media, from Laurie Berkner, whose music I used years earlier teaching my very first preschool class, to The Wiggles, KIDZ BOP and Super Simple. Our platform turned their content into interactive experiences, giving kids a new way to play, learn and engage with creators they already loved.
I saw an opportunity to extend that experience beyond the app, and beyond the screen. I created Hellosaurus Playbooks: 40-page digital activity guides for kids ages 2–8, with coloring pages, matching games, letter and number activities, creative prompts and hands-on learning inspired by each creator’s content. Something kids watched and played with on-screen became something they could keep exploring, making and learning from offline.
The Playbooks became part of our repeatable launch strategy for creator partnerships, with a custom edition for each partner and their content, giving families another way to bring the creators their kids loved into everyday play.
It turned one piece of digital content into a larger brand experience.

The Playground Weekly
When the 2020 shutdown closed our doors, we took Kidville online with Kidville Playground, which drew 33,000+ registrations in four months. The Playground Weekly was our digital magazine: a themed guide to each week’s live classes, with crafts, printables, recipes and challenges that connected families all over the world. This is the 52-page “Wild Wild West” edition.
